I picked up a MacBook Pro 14” M4 Pro in the refurb store and it arrived today. I’m coming from a 16” windows laptop and I’m struggling with the screen and the size of folders etc, I have Dropbox on mine. I’ve found out I can make the default size of text bigger but it doesn’t seem to affect everything. Has anyone been in this situation themselves? I’m seriously debating returning it and getting the 15” Air. I can’t afford the 16” Pro.

Have you tried different resolutions in Settings > Displays ?
Yes, it makes most things bigger but not everything, it also makes the screen seem more cramped. Quite often I have a word doc, a web browser and calibre open at the same time and I can’t see that working on the 14”screen.

Goto System Settings / Accessibility / Display / Text Size.

Use the slider to set the preferred reading size for the apps list below, or custom each app separately: Books, Calendar, Finder, Mail, Messages, News, Notes, Stocks, Weather
