Screen Size

I really like the 13" MacBook Air, but am also interested in the MacBook Pro Retina because of the 15.5" screen. Sometimes its nice to have more screen space.

What do you guys think?

it depends on what you are doing with the MBP.

I was bouncing back and forth between the 15 and 13 MBP and I choose the 13. The fact that you are even considering the 13 mostly likely means you don't NEED the 15. I don't need the quad or the dedicated GPU and the 13 is a little more portable. It depends on what you need really.

If you need it and you can afford it, go with the rMBP.

I find the 13" works fine for me. However, the rMBP weighs almost the same, so if you can afford the extra $700 or so, go for rMBP.

True. Incredibly, the rMBP weighs slightly less than the 13" MBP. According to the specifications, the 13" weighs 4.5 pounds (2.06 kg) and the rMBP weighs 4.46 pounds (2.02 kg).
