Sometimes I'll be on my iPhone doing whatever, and once I am finished I will click the lock button and the screen will go off.

5 minutes later, if I want to check the time or whatever, I click the lock button again, and the screen doesn't come on. I try again, nothing. Again, nothing.

So every time this happens I have to do a hard reset.
And it's starting to annoy me now because I've had it happen a lot lately.

Anyone have a solution to fix this?
Or is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I have the exact same problem. i think it's time for a trip to the Apple store soon. A restore doesnt seem to have helped me, but it my help you

let me know how you get on.

It happens to me too. Getting a replacement iPhone won't fix anything. It's in the firmware.

You can try turning it off and on once a day in the meantime.

Did you try a restore? Just figured i'd ask since you didn't mention if you did or not.

Yeah sorry I should have mentioned I tried a restore the other day, no good.

Damn.
Thanks.

Hopefully Apple fix this soon as it is so annoying.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5G77 Safari/525.20)

Yep... This happens to me too. I think the iPhone just freezes up. I just wait a couple minutes and then my phone starts working again. If all else fails- it's a hard reset.
