I've looked for this info before, but haven't found anything concrete. Does anyone know if using the screen spanning hack (or using dual monitors in spanned mode on a Power* system, for that manner) decreases the amount of available VRAM to either screen?

Assuming that you are, for example, playing a game on one display, and have Safari open on the other, will you significantly decrease the VRAM available to the game?

Each monito gets the same amount of vRAM so when you connect 2 dispalys to a video card the card divides its video ram evenly between them. So if you have a 128 mb card each display will get 64mb.
