I got a macbook white late 2009 which I got from my boss because he couldn't get it to work anymore. I really hope i was able to fix it but after trying all the tricks i found on the internet with no result this is my last call for help.

When i startup the macbook I hear the chime, hear the hdd running, which I inserted when i got it since he took out the original one for backup reasons. I can hear a disk spinning which i put in. OSX snow leopard which i can't get out anymore.

But the screen stays black. i can see a minor difference between the black when it's off and when it's on.

When I press capslock the light won't turn on. However when i preform a PRAM reset i can hear the chime twice so i know it's working so it's responding to the key's im pressing.

I disconnected the battery from the logic board, hold the power button for 5 secs and reconnect it again but it makes no difference. I also tried removing one of the ram's and put the other one in the primary slot. Which also gave no result.

I hope somebody can help
