Hello,
since updating to 10.6.4, it seems like Apple decided to turn vsync off. It doesn't happen always, but if I boot up my Macbook, play just about any game (WoW, UT2004, ...) and then quit and return to the desktop, I can see major screen tearing when moving windows around. This did not occur in 10.6.3
Things I've already tried:
- repair permissions
- using Quartz Debug to try to force beamsync on
- erase and install
None of those worked. Any ideas?
