People can look over and see your texts and other apps from a distance, how do you stop this?

Where can you get those? And won't that block retina display?

Hey, u folks went ga-ga for an IPS screen because of its wide-view angle, you got IPS and now you complain... :p

Just read (Tim Cook?) says next phone with privacy screen built-in.

So it will block the retina display and drop the quality to iPhone 3GS?

I don't feel it drops the screen quality to the 3GS at all. At least not the ones I have seen. Essentially what they do is drastically reduce the viewing angle. If you are looking at the screen head on, your view is unaffected. Look at it from an angle and all you see is a glare. No, it won't look completely clear, like just the glass, but its certainly not terrible; certainly not a ppi reduction effect.

Wth do you want? Either get it or stop complaining. Or just stop using your damn phone around people because you're so damn paranoid everyone is looking at your screen.

You usually never hear of someone complaining about a screen being too clear. Anyways, a privacy screen protector should do the trick.

Just because you don't mind if people look at your screen from across the room, doesn't mean everyone does, I'm just asking questions.

Across the room? Come on now. One would have to have incredible vision in order to even read what you have on your screen from many feet away.

Anyway, you've been given plenty of options, all of which you've dismissed. At best, you are just looking for something to complain about now. At worst, this is a poorly executed troll post.

Yes, people who are far-sighted can see from across the room. I guess they will fix this eventually without the need for 3rd party modifications (that will ruin your warranty)? Unless you can turn off the retina.

...what?

If you want a worse screen, buy a different phone or affix something to your screen.

You stick this thing to your display, and your problem is solved. No, it won't ruin your warranty.

You could try turning the brightness way down until it's only just about barely visible to you. This should make it very difficult for people throwing sideways glances at your phone to check out what you're doing.

It isn't an ideal situation but I think it may work. Try it out, you have nothing to lose!

Yes you asked a question and we answered it. Maybe just don't use your phone in public and you should be fine.
