I have an iPhone 3GS that I accidentally went swimming with. After being in a pool for 5 hours, not even a few days in rice could save the phone. It no longer powers on at all, even when plugged in. Would it be possible to take the screen from this iPhone and use it to replace the cracked screen of another 3GS? I'm not sure if the screen of this one would have been damaged at all by the water or if another component failed first, causing no damage to the screen. If the screen has been damaged, is there any way to take off the actual glass and use that to replace the glass on the other screen while retaining the original un-damaged LCD?
