Screen turns off before it should w/ Leopard

I set my Screen to turn off after 30 minutes, but it's turning off after like 5 minutes (not fully, just turning the backlight off, I can still make out the windows that are open). This just started happening when I installed leopard.

What is causing this??

Try turning off the "reduce display brightness before screen sleep".

It's already turned off. I have it set to sleep never (plugged in)

Odd. And I re-read your original post. I thought you meant it dimmed, buts its cutting out completely....

But it comes back on with user input?

Yeah I had a post regarding that issue but no one replied. Its the same bug which drove me nut in Tiger. After restart its coming back to default settings and its reducing brightness of the screen in laptops. Hope they will fix it some day

Yes, it comes back when I move the mouse.

I've also recently noticed it happens randomly. i.e., sometimes I actually get to see the screensaver before it cuts out, and other times I don't.
