screen video capture question with audio

Does the new Quicktime capture on screen video with sound? If not is there a way to do it? Other good reliable programs out there that do what I am looking for?

Yes, Quicktime can do that. Open it and select screen recording and before starting it (clicking the red circle) click the drop down menu icon and select internal mic or 3rd party mic
