I'm having some issues with the video on my Late 07 MBP. Basically, the video on the internal display is all distorted & screwy. To better illistrate my point, links are at the bottom.

I've tried to take it to an Apple Repair Shop (No Apple Store anywhere close), but every time I do, it miraculously starts working properly once I walk in the door. I showed a video that I shot of it screwing up to the tech in there and he said its probably a logic board failing.

I'm under AppleCare, so getting it replaced shouldn't be a problem, however I'm not sure how to describe it to them, so any ideas on that? Anybody else experienced this?

Its a broken graphics card, a bit notorious in that model of macbook pro you'll find the forum is full of complaints about it. However as the graphics card is soldered to the logic board, youll need the whole logic board replaced. You dont have to worry about Applecare, they know this model has this problem, and its good your fixing it while your still covered because its usually $600 up.
