my GF's mac( Mac Pro quad 2.66 intel, 4mgs ram, leopard, ATI XT1900) is doing strange stuff- lotsa freezes, lines across screen( see screenshot), beachballs of death and a weird instant sleep mode, actually more like a coma, where it won't wake up( whole screen goes to black).

we just got it back from a local mac repair shop where they replaced the logic board...and it's still acting up. the monitor is a new LG 24"-so i don't think it's an issue.

anyone dealt with a similar situation or seen the screen weirdness before?

just would like to have a bit more info when i take it back in for repair...the shop seems to be taking the path of least resistance as far as repairs go.

thanks for the assistance.

edit: sorry the pic is an EV map-it was just the first thing i opened and got the dreaded lines...
