My macbook pro (pre-unibody model) has a screen problem. I put it to sleep yesterday by closing the lid. When i wanted to wake it up again, it did, but without the screen. Backlight on the keyboard, sound, etc all worked. I can't get the screen to work even after a few hard resets, a cmu reset etc. Even attaching a external monitor doesn't work.
The funny part is that it won't go back to sleep again when closing the lid. I can blindly start itunes and play a song, but when i close the lid and it usualy stops and sleep, it just keeps on playing.
Anyone got an idea on how to fix this? (if it is fixable...)
