screen wont go to sleep

well i have an imac and the display(screen) wont go to sleep when i put the mouse up to the top right and the settings are fine i put it to sleep for 1 minute and it wont sleep at all but when i go to the apple icon and select sleep, the comp and the screen sleeps. so i cant figure out y it wont sleep so any suggestions?

Is assisted sleep legal in your state?



Check the settings for Expose in 'Expose & Spaces' in 'System Preferences'.

i got it to work after killing my dock using terminal thanks tho
