screen won't rotate - and no the portrait orientation is not locked

i searched but didn't find a solution that worked for me. i tried resetting all the settings, doing a hard reset, and restored to factory settings. once in a while it will rotate to landscape in Safari, but then it gets stuck that way.

if i take it to the Genius bar, will they give me a replacement? the screen not rotating is annoying... especially when it gets stuck.

Tilt the screen more towards you when you switch to landscape.

My phone used to do this once in a while. I'd go to turn the rotation lock switch off and it would still act like it was enabled. Mine would usually work normally after I put the phone to sleep/unlocked it again.
