Just noticed that iOS6 contains a bug that is lowering the screen brightness after locking the screen. And no. I haven't enablec auto brightness. When I later entered the options to turn it up it was set to 25% as I had. Weird.

I have noticed a problem on my iPhone 4s and so has my wife, when we receive a text message sometimes the screen will not light up all the way, it stays sort of dim, then if you press the lock button to shut down the screen again and press it again to the screen goes back to full brightness. something similar to whats going on with you?

Except that I manually had to change the settings. Only experienced this once tho. If its happening again I will do a restore.

I've experienced this about 5 times since iOS 6 update on my 4s. Kind of annoying. And locking it and unlocking it again doesn't help. i have to go into settings and tap the brightness slider and it'll click back to wherever it is set at (i don't have auto-brightness turned on)
