The screens are closing and going back to home screen on my 3GS when I am inputing data which is so annoying. Genius at the Apple Store said the battery is fine and I should do a restore, but I am terrified I will lose some of the important stuff I have on my phone. Any other suggestions would be very welcome about what else might be wrong or how to safely backup and restore step by step. It would be traumatic for me to lose any of my info, e.g., calendar, contacts, mail folders, etc.
