I want to have videos of an aquarium and Yule log as screensavers for my mac mini htpc. I use plex and it opens at login. I don't want screensavers to run when watching a movie or tv shows but if I'm not using the mini, it would be cool to have a kitsch screensaver running. Is this possible? I have a harmony 520 and would want this automated. I would use savehollywood screensaver plugin to play the videos as screensavers. But how do I tell the mini/plex not to play ssaver during movie playback but only when truly idle. I don't mind when music is playing.
