I have a MacBook and iMac and often use screen sharing from my MacBook to access my iMac across my home network.
I do this by selecting my Mac in Finder and clicking ‘Share Screen’. Since updating to Mojave I’m finding once I disconnect from my Mac it will not activate the screensaver and then sleep my monitor. It will never kick in at all and remain permanently on. If I activate my screensaver before disconnecting (in my case by moving the cursor to the bottom left of the screen because I use hot corners) it will eventually enter into sleep mode. On previous versions of MacOS it would turn my monitor off as soon as I disconnected.
I’m wondering if anybody else has witnessed this behaviour or is it going to be some bizarre interaction with some software I’m running on my Mac?
