Is there a decent screenshot app out there for Mac OS 26?

Not digging CMD+SHIFT+5 as it appears to take a screenshot of the entire app window which I don't always want.

I don't use it, but Apple has a screenshot app. Tahoe installed it in my Utilities folder:

I Have a Logitech keyboard with Special assignment "G" keys. I assigned one of my G keys to CMD+Shift+4, so I press the key and voila.

CMD+SHIFT+5

I'm still on Sequoia, and this pops the screenie app

I have two screens, and (with CMD+SHIFT+5) the screenie app floats a mini-dialog at the bottom of the second screen. It also allows multiple capture modalities.

CMD+SHIFT+4 lets me click-drag-release to select a particular area for my screen-shots. Efficient, yet I like having choices become available.
