I don't know if this is a stupid question or not but. If the iphone 11 takes a screenshot would the image be lower quality aswell?
( due to resolution ) or not?

If you take screenshoot of your iphone display, it will make image with resolution of your screen

Oh i guess it wont be as sharp as my ip8+ in terms of screenshot sad:(
Sharp? There is no unsharp screenshot of any display as even 1x1 pixel screenshot would be sharp. Less detail yes.

But how do you think a screenshot works? It just is the information of the display

Right details. Okay. so screenshot taken in Iphone 11 max pro and iphone 11 will be the same if viewed on a regular screen?

If you mean a computer monitor as regular screen, then the 11 screenshot will be smaller in size on that monitor as there are less pixels to display.

The screen has an XY resolution. A screenshot can only contain XY pixels ... there's no way for the screenshot mechanism to 'make up' other data to fill in extra pixels. So, if your display is 1136x640, that's what the screenshot will be. It can't fabricate the extra pixels that a 2688x1242 display would have, for example.
