Screenshots looks smaller on older iPhones

Hey guys, just got an iPhone 5, whenever i send a screenshot to my friend who has a 4s, my screenshot doesn't fill up his screen, in fact its smaller so there are borders around it, also when i look at my old screenshots from the 4s they don't even fit on my IP5's screen because they're bigger. Any idea why that's so?

The iPhone 5 has a bigger screen. Thus it's screenshots will also be bigger. To fit a bigger picture on a smaller screen you either need to zoom or shrink it so it all fits. That will give you a smaller looking image. Because it's been shrunk down to fit on the smaller screen.

I believe the iPhone 5 image is cropped and the iPhone 4S is not. There was another discussion on this awhile back.
