Can someone please take a screenshot and post from their high res 15" screen.

I have the standard 1440 x 900 which im using right now but want to see if I should get the high res instead and they don't have them instore to see thanks

A screenshot? It will look like any other 1680x1050 screen.

If all you want is that, here's my mini's 20" Cinema Display @ 1680x1050.

If you want to see how large or small things would look, then save that picture and quick look it, then go into fullscreen view in quick look.

so if i resize that image to 1440 by 900 then will it look just like the high res would look on my 15"?

No. Since you would be viewing the picture on a lower resolution screen it would appear to look the same as your screen does now.

Not really. Follow the instructions I gave if you want to get the closest approximation that you can get. It'll be a smidge blurry, but it'll give you an idea of the size of things.

those that have the high res screen, do you guys like the text size for everyday tasks?

I'm in the same boat. But to switch to high-res, I have to order online? That alone sounds like a deal breaker. I would rather swap out in store, and pay my $100 difference. Any way Apple would ship to store so I can do that?
