Apologize if this is a stupid question, but just just want to make sure it isn't the AV cable I bought from Apple -

Downloaded and got ScreenSplitter up and running, can see my springboard, everything looks cool, safari on my flatscreen and even Orb live TV on my JVC car stereo with an AV input - so kinda like live tv in my car - however - does the autolock feature on the iphone cut the signal to leave screensplitter on? I got a few "no signal" when i was watching youtube, and browsing with safari and viewing it on my flatscreen - so just want to know if changing the dimming / auto lock function to never, will that keep the Screen Splitter app in the "on" position, preventing it from cutting it off? I saw some people had said that ebay av cables were cutting out after a few minutes, and just want to make sure it isnt the legit apple cable i bought -

thanks in advance...
