So I decided to be creative and try Aqua4itunes. Now iTunes is stuck in graphite aqua skin and I cannot change it. Aqua4itunes either does nothing or spits out an error, and reinstalling itunes did nothing. Where's the skin file and how can I restore it??

You probably just need someone to give you the original iTunes.rsrc file. I'd give you mine but I've replaced it with something better. Control click on iTunes, and choose 'show package contents'. Then go into contents > resources. This is where you would put the new 'iTunes.rsrc' file.

wouldn't reinstalling iTunes have replaced this?

What have you replaced it with? I'm kinda interested :).

I wish I could help you more. All I know is that the resource file for iTunes I mentioned is where ALL of the graphics for iTunes are stored. Believe me, I've looked at each and every one.

Have you tried reinstalling Aqua4iTunes?

That's so weird. I've replaced the resource file with a known correct copy from another computer, restarted and it still wouldn't go back to normal.
