My Lombard won't charge no matter what I do. I'm positive that it's a problem with the hardware and not anything to do with the software. I think its something to do with the slot where the AC adapter goes. I tried two different AC adapters and neither worked so its probably not anything to do with that.

The slot is kinda loose so I'm guessing something in there broke or there's a faulty connection somewhere. I'm planning to send it to a repair guy but I'm wondering how much it would cost. Has anybody had a problem like this? And considering it's a four year old computer, do you think it's cheaper to just get a new computer rather than repair it? I have all my data backed up so it's not going to be that much of a problem, except this might just be a good excuse to get a new laptop :D .
