script disable/re-enable of USB port?

Is it possible to script the disable / re-enabling of a USB port?

I have a USB docking station (Toshiba Dynadock) that 'dies' upon reboot of my macbook.

If I unplug and re-plug the docking station the ethernet port comes back to life..

I'd like to script this if possible!
