This may be the wrong forum for this, but I installed Sharity 3 yesterday and I don't have a necessity for it at the moment. The only way to uninstall it, since it mounts a virtual drive that I can't seem to unmount, is too run the script.

How do I run a script and/or has anyone had any experience working with Sharity 3?

removing sharity3

i don't have experience of the app but can tell you how to uninstall, having just done it myself.

open terminal in utilities

navigate your way to the sharity3 folder, which is likely to be in startupitems. type:

cd ../../library/startupitems

run the uninstall script by typing the following:

sudo sh uninstall

follow the instructions on screen and you should be fine.

Thanks a bunch! After having installed this program I noticed a slight difference in performance on my Mac Pro. It seems to a bogged down my system slightly.
