I am using Userscripts in Safari to manage any scripts that I install. I installed a script called Picviewer CE+ but I can't get it to work. The info on the script page says hold control and G to open the gallery mode - this works in Chrome, but not in Safari.

I also tried a different script called Image Max URL, which works in Chrome but not Safari.

Is there anything like this that will work with Userscripts, or am I doing something wrong?

Could you provide a link or two to images/websites with this problem, so "we can see" what you're seeing?

Safari used to have the option in the developer menu to "disable styles", which sometimes made it possible to see all sizes of a posted image.

I just checked the Brave browser, and there looks to be at least one extension/add-on that can still disable styles...

Apologies - I forgot to give an example

When you right mouse click to open the image in a new tab, it just reloads the page the image is hosted on, instead of actually opening the image on its own in a new tab.

What I did:
1. I went to the link you provided above. The image opens, but not at "full size".

2. As you said, trying to open it "in a new window" (I don't use tabs, I'm morally opposed to them, heh) doesn't work.

3. So... I RIGHT clicked on the image and chose "Save image to the desktop". It downloads to my desktop.

4. NOW I can double-click on the image to open it in Preview. It can be enlarged to full size.

Here it is:

This could be something to do with how reddit works (I don't use that site very often).

Hmmm...
Perhaps this applies:
Fishrrman's "Mac Rule Number 9":
When one pathway isn't working for you, backstep a little and try another.
When the obvious method is failing, try other paths that AREN'T obvious...

I went to the reddit link. When I hover my cursor over the image it turns into a magnifying glass - when I click on the image it enlarges it to the full (larger) size. I can then drag it to my desktop as well if I wish.

I have no extensions installed.
