Scroll Acceleration

I know the topic of scroll acceleration has been discussed previously, but I have yet to see a working solution. I use a Razer Deathadder on OS X 10.9.5 and want the mouse wheel to scroll 'properly'. I am aware of USB Overdrive and DisableExtremeScrollAcceleration, neither of which I can use. USB Overdrive actually is supposed to work, but I use SmoothMouse and USB Overdrive interferes with its settings, additionally, it is not free. DisableExtremeScrollAcceleration simply decreases the acceleration so much that it is not really that better than default.

Does everybody who use non-Apple mice put up with this or is there a solution that I have not heard of?
