Hi,

I have around 200 files in a folder. I am using the icon view. They are aligned horizontally on the screen and I cannot use my mouse's scroll wheel to look at the files.

Is there a way to vertically align (just like in WINDOWS operating system). I tried to reduce icon size and text size to try and achieve this, but not very comfortable viewing.

Thanks,
Pradeep

sounds like you have the icon label position on the right. Get Info on the folder by pressing "command+I" and set the label position to the "Right". click "Use as Defaults" if you like.

Open the folder and right click where there is not a file and select 'View Options'

Then where it says 'Array by', select "Name". (Here you can also choose the label position). And then click the "Use as defaults" button. Then close the window and everything should be scrollable vertically.
