Has anyone got any clues on this?

I am using a Razer mouse, and since installing Lion 30 minutes ago, my scroll wheel has been reversed, so now I have to scroll up, to go down the page and vice versa.

lol - that is a new feature. it is designed for trackpads.

you can change it in system preferences back to conventional.

Thanks Aussie,

Just spotted it now - the funny thing is, that's the first place I looked and completely missed it.

Looks like you can't change it in system preferences unless you have an apple mouse or track pad.

In my case I have an MS intellimouse USB and I'm stuck.

Undo reverse scroll wheel with another mouse

I too have an MS intellimouse and I couldn't undo the scroll wheel inversion. BUT, I connected a wired mouse (in this case Logitech) and in the sys pref the option to reverse appeared and I disabled it.

Then, I plugged in my MS mouse again and voila! All is well again!

Reverse Scrolling After Lion Upgrade

Setting is under the "Mouse" panel in System Preferences. The title is "Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating." It would have just been too easy to say, "reverse mouse scroll wheel". No, it's gotta be something elliptical.

Summary:

Apple => System Preferences... => Mouse => Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating.
