Just looking for people who are experiencing the same problems. This problems was first reported last year and Apple sent out an update which cleared it up, but now the problem seems to be back.

When scrolling using the two finger action on the touchpad, pages distort in a horizontal axis. The problems seems to be in both Safari (3 Beta) and Mail app, and also in the Finder windows, although in finder it isnt as severe.

Does anybody know of this problems re-appearing? I haven't installed anything for a while so don't I think its something that has come from an installed app.

Also, if anybody knows of a solution I'll try anything!!!

Peace :apple:

Try the 10.5.7 update that was released today and see if that fixes. I've had the same issue you describe for a long time. I'll try it also and keep my fingers crossed.

Yes, the update from apple fixed that today. It also fixed the jumpy 1080p playback. Here's a quote from the update page.
Improves performance of video playback and cursor movements for recent Macs with NVIDIA graphics.
