Scrolling in Firefox 3.06 slow or jerky?

Has anyone else experienced slow scrolling or jerky scrolling in Firefox 3.06? If so how did you fix it?

I've noticed this too and it's really annoying coming from Safari.

Go to:

Preferences > Advanced > General > Use smooth scrolling

I wonder why that wouldn't be on by default? I switched to Safari for the smooth scrolling. Now I know...

Although, I have to say.... Safari's scrolling still feels more solid and consistent.

Smooth scrolling does make it better but it's still a lot jerkier than Safari. You can tell that it is still scrolling in blocks... they are just smoother blocks.

I just installed Firefox 3.6b5 and the slow/jerky scrolling seems to have been fixed.
