So you've just downloaded Lion and as you start to use it, you're feeling uncoordinated? It's not you. Apple has changed the default motion associated with gesture scrolling with your fingers on a track pad and even when you use a mouse with a scroll wheel. These new defaults have you move your fingers / scroll wheel in the opposite direction than you would move the scroll bar, i.e.,
where you would grab a scroll bar and pull down to move down a page, the default gesture would have you flick your two fingers up / roll your mouse scroll wheel UP rather than down.
At least the fix is easy enough:
Mice - you can go into the System Preferences and for a scroll mouse deselect the "Move content in direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating.
Gesture Trackpads - again in System Preferences under "Trackpad" - "Scroll & Zoom" - deselect the "Scroll direction: natural".
Now to turn-off the embarrassment-inducing iOS-like on-the-fly word correction. Just tell me I've made a typo Mac OS, don't substitute a correctly spelled bit of nonsense in its place.
