Scrolling within a text box in Safari.

Can somebody enlighten me on this process? It's really frustrating not being able to reach the part of my post that I wish to edit. I've seen people say two fingered swipes do this but it's never worked for me.

Hmm.

Scrolling with two fingers next to each, should work in textfields and divs. (I haven't checked to see if turning off scrolling in a field affects this. Probably.)

Not off the top of my head. I've been having problems with it here on MR. After typing an extensive post, I can't edit anything below a certain point because the whole screen scrolls rather than the text within the box...

if you're editing text do the "magnifying glass" thing, you got to be persistant in holding it at the bottom of the text box to get it to move sometimes but it should eventually work.

I've had the same problem, exclusively when posting in a forum. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't, no matter how much I try. I haven't figured out the trick yet.
