my equipment: 17" iMac (800MHz)

peripheral to connect: zip drive with a SCSI interface

how can i connect this to my computer? is there any adapter to connect via USB or firewire? are these adapters easy to find? thanks in advance.

lots of vendors make USB to SCSI adaptors, but you need to know which SCSI-- 25 pin or 50. Commonly known as mac/PC. easiest way to tell without counting is this: 25 pin have actual pins and holes, 50 pin has metal contacts surrounding the plastic...

i can't vouch for the seller, but this is the type of thing you're looking for--

its usually easier, less problematic and about the same cost just to simply get a new zip drive.

thanks

the usb adapter is about $65, and the firewire one is around $95. sucks for me! thanks for the help tho.
