I recently bought a Performa 630cd and as I was looking through my garage bins, I found two 1990s era Apple SCSI hard drives. I would like to see what was stored in those drives. My Performa 630cd doesn't have a SCSI hard drive to swap in these old drives but it does come with a SCSI port in the back. What would be the easiest way, other than hunting for an old enclosure, to connect my Performa?
Any suggestion would be very appreciated.

The cheapest would be to get a SCSI50 to DB25 adapter and db25 cable. For the SCSI connection. If you've got an old PSU laying around. You could use it to power the drive. Otherwise you'll need an external molex power adapter. (2Amp)

Thank you for the suggestions, are those readily available online?

Here is the adapter. These are hard to find. As they aren't mass produced. They are going to be hand soldered by small companies or hobbyists. Don't know if this one is reputable or not. As I've never used them.

I found a couple sources. But this one has the keyed 50 pin connector on it. So, that you don't accidentally connect it upside down. While the other is selling an unkeyed connector. There's also a github on these. But you'd have to source manufacturing and then hand solder the connectors yourself.

Here's the cable you need.

Here's the molex power adapter.

Edit: Don't forget that you'll need to set the SCSI ID and termination jumpers on the drive.

Appreciate your help, I will try these and will post my success (hopefully🤞). And yes, I do remember about the SCSI ID being a necessary requirement.
