I think apple either need to make the current SD card accessory for the ipad compatible with the iphone or at least make another one that would work with an iphone.
Anyone else here thinking its just stupid how only iPads can use this adapter?

Apple likes to lock down access to their products.

However, if it's pictures you want from a digital camera, you can get a wifi SD card that will transfer photos from your camera to your iphone.

Actually, I've never really thought about it. Would be nice to be able to use it, but it isn't a big deal.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148a Safari/6533.18.5)

Wifi memory cards? Never hear of those before might have to look around for one. But yes apple like to lock you in and keep it all theirs in every way (ie. Non upgradable parts, parts only working with a single device etc.)
Although apple could easily release an update allowing compatibility:/

would be nice if cameras had built in bluetooth or a adapter bluetooth for SD cards and just transfer over bluetooth to the iphone..be nice and handy if you dont have your laptop or computer with you when you need to upload a pic online
