SD Card Mounts and Unmounts?

I've been using this 16GB Kingston SDHC card with my HD camera for a while, but more recently, when importing to imovie09, the SD card dismounts itself every so often. Seconds later, though it mounts itself again. Sometimes it causes imovie09 to crash as well. An error message comes up that says the disk was not properly ejected (even though I always safely eject my hardware). Needless to say, this is very annoying because I have to start importing my clips all over again!

Any help in diagnosing this problem? :confused:
