I'm looking for a nice and decent SD (and other cards too maybe? but mainly SD) Card reader for my Expresscard slot.

I'm really new to these things, so can anyone recommend me a good one?

One other thing ... are these things usually 100% flush with the case? Or will there be something bulky sticking out of the case?

And other additional question: will the SD card show up like an external USB stick in the Finder, so I'll be able to drag content onto the card?

Thanks in advance!

This is the one I bought yesterday

It is flush without a card in it but when you put a card in the card sticks out about 1/4 of an inch. It was on sale at Best Buy B&M for $14.99. I did have a Griffin but that would not read SD HC cards. However, the card when inserted into the Griffin was flush.

Yes, I was able to drag and drop files onto the card using the SanDisk I got yesterday

Alright thanks!

Is there a big difference in quality between brands? (like SanDisk, Griffin, Belkin etc ...)
Anything I should keep an eye out for?

How did you get it for $14.99? Is this just an in-store offer? This is exactly what I'm looking for!

The Expresscard reader looks nice but have you considered a USB reader. All you do is plug it in when needed and at $15 it looks like a deal.

Yes, I have considered a USB reader, but I prefer the expresscard
