SD Card Reader Not Recognizing(2010 MBP i7)

Hello,

Just got our MBP new last fall.

Another guy in the office got one new last summer.

We just started shooting video to SDHC a few months ago.

On the MBP from last summer, the SDHC card opens up as expected with no known problems.

On the newer(and higher end) MBP, when we put the card into the slot- in the same exact way we put it into the other MBP, nothing happens.

No messages, nothing in the finder, nothing on desktop, nothing nowhere.

Anyone have any advice?
