sd card reader not working

my 27 inch imacs sd card reader isn't working. i tried with multible cards and still no luck...
 
See if any of the information here is of help. Does the Card Reader entry show any information in System Profiler (10.6) or System Information (10.7)? It should be 4th thing down under Hardware? If there is no device information, consider resetting the SMC.
