SD Card Reader

I have a 2010 MBP 15". My SD card reader sometimes have problem reading the card. I will insert the card a few times in a row and it will start working then and for the subsequent insertions. But if I try after a while its the same damn story again. Anyone else have similar experience?

What SD Card model/brand do you use?

Does it happen with several cards or only with one?

Check to see if there is any debris in the slot area. It sometimes happens to collect dust!
