SD Card Recoverey that really works (free) ?

I'm looking to recover my Bother's SD CArd that he accidentally erased. I've searched the forum and Google to find free recovery software, however you can only view the Photo's, not save them.

Does anybody know which software allows you to save the Photos for free, but also does not have a limited amount of Photo's you can save i.e some only allows 100...

I've used this before and it worked well, just didn't have a pretty GUI, you have to use Terminal.

Anyway for future search reference... I recently used the following tool to recover a bunch of photos from one of my CF cards that got corrupted. It worked flawlessly. The only change I had to make to the step-by-step in this guide was choose "Intel/PC" at the step where you tell it what partition table to look for.
