SD Card Uses on the 13" MBA (Windows partition, iTunes/iphoto library, etc.)

I have a specific question regarding the SD card and the MBA, then some general questions -

1. Can you use an SD Card to use as a Windows 7 partition (and what would be the best way to go about that), and if so:
a) what class/how fast would the card have to be, and:
b) with what category/class of card is the 2012 MBA compatible?

2. Can you use an SD Card like a USB memory stick?

3. Can I use it for my iTunes or iPhoto libraries?

Thanks much - never have thought of using an SD card before and don't know much about them.
