sd card with folder in trash won't delete

I have an SD card formatted as FAT32, and the folder that is in the trash won't delete.
how do I empty the trash?

I’m having a similar issue with files sent to Trash from SD Cards that won’t delete in total. If I open the Get Info window for the drive, I can see that Empty Trash only deletes a few files at a time. I’m having to run Empty Trash 12 or more times in a row to delete an entire folder full of files. This is a new issue with Ventura. No doubt Apple’s moron programmers have effed this up! I’m really tired of all the stupid effing bugs!!!

Same here, but if you eject the SD card then it works.
It wasn't on the first Ventura release.

Have you tried an "rm -rf" in the Terminal?

Why do I need to do this when it is a graphical interface operating system
if it was not necessary before why should it be necessary now on 13.1
