SD Cards no longer work

Hi All,

I am new to Mac and seem to have an ongoing issue.

When ever i connect a SD Card to my MacBook Pro 13" with the built in SD reader. And then move files around etc. I am unable to move to a windows platform computer and view these files.

Would this be something i am doing wrong? Do i need to delete the files (hidden files) that mac creates on the memory card?

Im lost completly with this now...any ideas.. i no its not the card cos i have bought several new cards

Did you format the card from the mac?

Never formated the card on the mac! Only moved/renamed files etc

But whenever i put the card to windows or to a digital picture frame they no longer work!
