I bought a used 2011 MBP, the previous owner switched the stock HDD to a 256gb SSD. I really like the performance, but I would like more storage space. I know that I can add a second drive in place of the optical drive, but I think that may be overkill for my needs.

Does anyone use an SD or MicroSD and adapter setup in their MBP?

I am thinking I could at least move my iTunes library over there to free up some space, maybe my pictures too.

I am not in a huge need of extra space right now, just looking for options in the future.

Thanks!

I was in the same boat.
