SD slot doesn't recognise my SD card??

When I put in my 16GB SD card into my MBPs SD slot, nothing shows up on my desktop! It worked perfectly fine yesterday and before but now all of a sudden it's playing up on me!

Just wondering if anybody had/has this kind issue and if theres a solution to this... fingers cross its not the hardware problem!

Try opening Disk Utility and see if the SD card shows up there.

You said that the card worked yesterday, yet it doesn't show up on the desktop or Disk Utility when you plug it in. Correct?

Also, is the "lock switch" set to "lock"?

Lock or not you should still able to see it! If its lock just mean you cant write on it but you can read!
op, test it on a different computer!

Yes, everything worked perfectly fine before, icon of SD showed up on desktop straight away.

I have checked my SD card it's unlocked.

Lock or not you should still able to see it! If its lock just mean you cant write on it but you can read!
op, test it on a different computer!

Tested on my PC, and there was no problem there.

I have the exact same problem, worked on PC and not on the Mac although it did work yesterday, did you find a solution?
